Another week of Foodie Friday Recipes and I'm drooling over here! The weather has started to cool off in Dallas and I'm feeling a round of fall baking coming on! So this week, I'm including a few easy meals that we've been making recently and a couple baking ideas for you to take full advantage of all the fall feels!
In this series, I'm including recipes from other bakers and cooks as well as my own; all recipes are credited and linked below.
Homemade Pop-Tarts
This is a recipe from last year's Foodie Friday series with my friend and amazing photographer, Kaylynn Krieg, where I featured one recipe per week. This was one of our favorite recipes to shoot because we got to eat them after shooting and WOW. So yum! You can make this recipe as easy or complex as you like by using things like pre-made dough and jam or by making everything from scratch! Can't go wrong!
Lemon Rosemary Chicken
I think I make some version of this every week! I love to buy the pre-marinated chicken breasts from Central Market, but I realized that I grow my own rosemary and I should just make my own marinade! I use this recipe as a base and of course I love that it's all in one pan....aka less dishes! ;)
Sheet Pan Salmon with Citrus Avocado Salsa
Again, I'm ALL about a one pan meal! The best way to eliminate meal boredom is to switch up the spices/garnish that you use, so I love this salmon with citrus and avocado salsa! So fun and makes me do something different without a ton of extra effort! Plus, how beautiful is this photo?! Love!
Pumpkin Crumble Bread
I made this last year for a Foodie Friday recipe and YUM! I even forgot to add the glaze drizzle that I was planning to make but it didn't even need it! So good! You can shortcut this recipe by skipping the homemade bread and doing the spice cake mix + can of pumpkin hack, then adding the crumble topping, if that's more your style. I've done both!
Happy cooking and baking! I'm not a chef, but I love to spend time in the kitchen and hope these recipes help you enjoy time in the kitchen, too!
