It's no secret that I love brunch and consider myself a brunch connoisseur, so I'm thrilled to finally be able to share my personal guide to the best brunches in Dallas! There are a TON of great brunch options in Dallas, with new restaurants opening up all the time, but these are the ones that I've had MULTIPLE great experiences at and would highly recommend to you! I love being a resource for you and am so happy to share the places that I personally enjoy and I hope you will too! Enjoy my Dallas Brunch Guide!
SADELLE'S
Fresh from NYC, Sadelle's opened in Highland Park Village where the old Royal Blue Grocery was. I've only been for brunch so far, but I loved the vibes, and of course the food was so good. I recommend ordering a savory dish then splitting an order of the Blueberry Pancakes with the table. Seriously, 3 huge pancakes - plenty to share! Grab a cute cocktail or a class Sadelle's mug of coffee :)
THE HENRY
I love The Henry for a few reasons: 1. the moody vibes! 2. the good food! Most people probably rank their brunch priorities a little different than I do, but that's ok. All that to say, definitely visit The Henry for brunch! They have a patio and a 2nd story patio and bar that are beautiful for the few weeks of patio weather we get in Dallas. I always order the sweet menu item and the french toast at The Henry was excellent! Parking garage for self-park + parking validation also makes me love The Henry.
Neighborhood: Uptown
BEVERLEY'S
I LOVE the vibes at Beverley's, and as we have already established, vibes are an important part of my brunch experience. Don't worry, the food at Beverley's is amazing! Be sure to try them for dinner too. They have the cutest little patio and it's perfect for a girls' brunch or a date spot.
Neighborhood: Fitzhugh
MERCAT BISTRO
This is the cutest! It's hard to go wrong with any of the Harwood District restaurants, but Mercat Bistro is my favorite because it reminds me of a Parisian sidewalk cafe! Moody light, mismatched china, and the flakiest croissants all make it worth a visit! Don't miss their coffee or their pastry basket. Worth it.
Neighborhood: Harwood
Sixty Vines
Dallas was so jealous when Plano got the first Sixty Vines restaurant, and now we have our own at Crescent Court, but you really can't go wrong at either location! Their brunch goes best with the mimosa bar, so save room! You know I love French Toast (and all carbs!), and you have to try their lemon ricotta french toast with blueberry syrup (yasss!). Their menu has great entree options in every brunch category, so it's sure to please everyone in your party and is a great place for groups!
Neighborhood: Uptown & Plano
Dolce Riviera
Another favorite in the Harwood District, Dolce Riviera is an Italian concept with patio perfection! They have a fantastic assortment of frittatas, benedicts, and crepes and pancakes and french toast(!!!) The patio is also a great place for group dining, because they can curtain off sections if you have a large party! They were closed for *so* long but just reopened and I can't wait to go back!
Neighborhood: Harwood
San Martin
This Central American bakery concept is the perfect mix of casual atmosphere and delicious food! Nestled off of McKinney Street in Uptown, you would never know it was there but it's huge! It's both a restaurant and a traditional bakery and each time I've visited, everyone has been so friendly! I ordered no less than 5 entrees during a styled brunch shoot, and every single one of them was delicious and a beautiful presentation as well! This is a great spot for families and there's something for everyone on the menu.
Neighborhood: Uptown
The Rustic
Are you even a Texan if you haven't brunched at The Rustic?! You have to try their Jam & Toast brunch, served family-style every Saturday and Sunday! I love getting a little taste of everything from spicy fried chicken to french toast, salad, and mini donuts! This is a great place to go with a group and even the men will leave full!
Neighborhood: Uptown
Snooze
Back in the day, if you wanted Snooze, you had to wait until your ski trip to Denver's Union Station or make a roadtrip to Austin! Now, you can get your Snooze fix at a couple locations in Dallas! I recommend going with at least one other person and ordering a mix of sweet and savory! My favorite thing about Snooze is their pancake flight! You can order 3 different flavors of pancakes, which is a must because they feature flavors like Blueberry Danish, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, and Chocolate Chip, just to name a few!
Neighborhood: Oak Lawn, North Dallas Walnut Hill, Addison
José
I have eaten at José plenty of times, but they rolled out their brunch menu not too long ago and I was able to visit last week with friends to finally give it a shot! I'll definitely be back because everyone's food looked so good! I'm normally underwhelmed by Mexican restaurants' french toast offerings (makes sense) but José's version was delicious! I recommend getting a traditional option like the Chilaquiles (shown here) and sharing the french toast with everyone at the table because it is definitely on the sweet side!
Neighborhood: University Park, Inwood at Lovers
I hope my Dallas Brunch Guide helped you pick a brunch spot this week! Brunch questions? Shoot me a DM @rhondajenkins and let's talk french toast. ;)
