It's no secret that I LOVE celebrating every holiday possible, and Valentine's is one of my favorites! Pink and red everything and I'm IN! 

Over the last few years, I've written plenty of blog posts with ideas and events around Valentine's and Galentine's, and here are a few of my favorites. PLUS a new idea that I have wanted to do for YEARS and finally made it happen! 

Last year, I hosted a Galentine's event and shared a few ways to make friends feel loved in February!

Now, if you really want to surprise someone you're close to (significant other, bff, roommate), here's the cutest idea ever and it's so simple! 

HEART BALLOON CLOSET SURPRISE!

Ha! Please excuse these low quality photos, but this was an actual surprise in progress, so I didn't waste time with perfect lighting conditions. Like I said, the idea is simple: fill their closet with heart balloons, then when they open the door they have a "heart attack" (not a real one, duh). Logistically, it's easier said than done though- I used a stool to hold the balloons inside the closet as I was loading them in, and it's helpful to have an accomplice for this task. All you need are HEART BALLOONS!
